Open Studio with Photographer Bridget Badore

Mini Open Studio Evening with photographer Bridget Badore

Bridget Badore’s Open Studio Project explores opening up an intimate practice to see and be seen in a tender way, with slowness and without judgment or expecations. It is a cathartic practice in opening up to the space between people. This will be their first time opening the project up to a new community in Kingston NY.

More about the project from the artist:

"This practice was born out of a need to create a safe space to gaze upon people I trust and be gazed upon by people I trust, to imbue more play into my photographic process and create boundaries around what my work could look like outside of a capitalistic structure. It is a SOFT SPACE. It is inherently queer. The ultimate goal is to have a space where people can be comfortable to be themselves + be seen + celebrated + maybe find some community while doing that. It's a practice in getting out of my own wacky head to just MAKE SHIT with my friends. No judgment! No urgency! No stupid ideas! Just a safe space; a practice in loving yourself and your community and your process.

This is a place to explore, play, and experiment with how you want to be perceived. It's a space to be vulnerable and open.  If you're looking for professional headshots or promo photos for something specific, that is something we can book separately (more info here). This space right here is art & softness & exploring, y'all."
