Midnight Garden at Chicory Naturalist
Holding Space presents Midnight Garden at Chicory Naturalist, featuring artwork from members of Holding Space: an artist collective making poetry out of anything and creating room to bloom in the dark. In the garden, we make space for shadows, composting & metabolizing the rotten into the lush – turning inside out and allowing the moon to illuminate the tender process.

This exhibition includes artwork from over 30 local mid-hudson artists in Holding Space’s Kingston, NY community. Some pieces might feel familiar, echoing another iteration of this space, this moment, this season. Together, we keep tending to the ever-changing web of existence, overlapping and interweaving over and over at different moments.
