A group art show at Holding Space exploring themes of spring and the darkness that it emerges from.

Additional inspirations include: compost, mud, spring thawing / awakening, activated space, what we gain from the dark season, persephone’s emergence from the underworld, anne carson’s autobiography of red, entanglement of life/death, both/and, one does not exist without the other.

Work must be dropped off or delivered to Holding Space (34 Broadway, Kingston NY 12401) ready to install by Sunday, May 12 (they don't necessarily need to be framed or "gallery-ready" by traditional standards. The mode of presentation is pretty open – if you have any preferences about how to present them, we're happy to figure it out with you). Pieces will be ready to pick up (if they have not sold) anytime after Monday, August 5
